The brief

Compare The Market have a successful customer loyalty scheme rewarding their customers through Meerkat Meals and Movies to eat out and get to the cinema. But, you know, cinema, restaurants... pandemic... but, they’re not the kind of brand that can just switch off. So in light of Covid-19 and a global lockdown, we needed to find a relevant way to bring our customers moments of joy and reward them in their everyday lives.

The how

We spotted a great opportunity. There was another industry desperate to connect with their audience in lockdown too – the music industry. And so we created Meerkat Music and reformed the biggest boy band on the planet – including the one member everyone’s been missing and we created the most insane, unmissable livestream gig ever.

Little Mix – uncancelled

The launch of Meerkat Music was so successful with Take That, that we went on to create a huge follow up event with Little Mix, who had been forced to cancel their world tour, giving them the opportunity to keep the show going for their fans.
